Milo V2.0
Designed for DIY builders, Milo V2 is More than capable of cutting aluminum while excelling at composites, woods, and plastics.
Milo V2 features a larger work area, fully redesigned plates and HOIs, simplified tramming, and magnetic way covers for easy maintenance.
Electronic parts are not inlcuded in Milo V2.0 Base Kit, users need to buy Universal Electronics Box Kit seperately.
Features
Larger Working Area
Milo V2.0 features a larger working envelope than the previous generation, giving users more room to take on bigger projects while maintaining a compact machine footprint.
Simplified Tramming
Milo 2.0 streamlines the tramming process, making it easier to align the spindle with the machine axes and achieve precise, consistent machining results.
Magnetic Way Covers
Snap-on magnetic covers help protect the linear motion system from chips and dust while allowing quick removal for easy cleaning and maintenance.
Flexible Motion System Options
The Milo 2.0 platform supports both leadscrew and ballscrew configurations, giving builders the flexibility to choose a motion system that matches their desired balance of precision, performance, and cost.
This kit includes leadscrews as standard.
Moving-Table X-Axis Design
Milo uses a moving-table X-axis, similar to the V1.5—meaning the entire bed moves during operation. Miley, on the other hand, features a stationary X-axis, where only the fixture plate moves, keeping the table fixed.
Fully Redesigned Plates and HOIs
Completely redesigned plates and HOIs deliver increased strength, cleaner assembly, improved tolerances, and enhanced load capacity for a more rigid and reliable machine structure.
All-New Anti-Backlash Nuts with Auto-Adjusting Features
The improved anti-backlash nuts automatically compensate for wear and movement, helping maintain tight motion, improved accuracy, and consistent performance with minimal adjustment.
